This is actually the first ever Kinabalu song, hence the slight difference in style. The fast parts were originally used (thogh in a slightly different fashion) in Peters and Jonatans grindcore outfit KRAATER. The pre-chorus was originally supposed to have a bit of a "prodigysound" to it, but went thru some phases and ended up all symphonic and fat, sort of Gojira style while the chorus always had that rock-out sound in it. As for the outro, its a nod towards the math metal geek within us all.
